I want to work with the citizens of District 7 to turn the tide on crime, gangs, educational issues & the out of control drug problems that have greatly diminished the standard of living in many of our communities for far too long. Moreover, the ongoing issues with our juvenile &criminal justice systems are alarming as well as the growing economic & illegal immigration problems we face.
Another priority is putting an end to food deserts in our communities. Yet another priority is to continue working with members of the Law Enforcement Community & groups that support our officers because when we do, our communities are safer and more tranquil environments to live, work and play. I promise to lookout for the best interests and safety of all of our citizens as well as the local businessmen and businesswomen in our state. I will never rubber stamp legislation like so many of the spineless backstabbing cowards have done for the machine that wantonly preserves the status quo mentality.
Do you believe, as President Joe Biden has said, that “democracy is on the ballot” and, if so, in what way?Democracy is often said to mean ‘rule by the people’. An example of this is any system of government in which people vote their elected representatives into parliament.
I do believe that democracy is on the ballot and so are our freedoms.
Will you accept the presidential election result once the totals have been certified by the states and any legal challenges adjudicated? After watching the 2020 election results, do you seriously expect me to believe the Manufactured Media and Democratic Communist Jackass Party of America’s insane narratives? Get real!
Jacob Chansley dropped the dime on everything the Deep Fake State has been up to on Tucker’s show. Another Tucker interview with Mike Benz explained what the Deep State has been doing the past few years and also went back to 1947 to paint a vivid picture of the origins of today’s deep state.
Happy Trails To You
Do you support additional assistance for Ukraine’s military forces two years into Russia’s invasion? No. On the international front I will not support senseless wars or conflicts that cost So Many Precious Americans Lives and cost trillions of future hard earned tax dollars we can’t afford to waste. We are also foolishly allowing stockpiles of our weapons to be depleted that we may possibly need here at home very soon. I will fight to restore peace in the Middle East and also in Ukraine.
We need to take care of our domestic problems including border security and avoid entering into World War III.
Should the United States be speaking out more clearly, as Maryland Sen. Chris Van Hollen has suggested, about civilian casualties in Gaza? Why would anyone want to listen to Senator Chris Van Hollen when the children of Baltimore City can’t read, write and aren’t proficient in math? Our City streets are deadly with gang violence and drug overdoses.
People do not want to visit Baltimore City and the Timothy Reynolds, Cheryl McCormack and Chesley Patterson murders are perfect examples of why. But I will opine on this international issue, briefly.
I have always known Israeli Defense Force to show the utmost restraint when attacking targets in or near civilian areas. This is not the case with the Palestinians when they are attacking Israeli men, women and children.
To sum it up, when someone chants, “From the river to the sea”that’s all you need to know. Because that chant refers to Jewish genocide.
Should Congress act to protect abortion rights following the Supreme Court’s 2022 Dobbs decision? No. I believe that the Supreme Court made the correct decision, because this is a state’s rights issue. I believe that life starts at conception.
What more can the federal government do to help Baltimore battle homicides and other violent crime? In the past I witnessed former Governor Larry Hogan throw a lot of money at Baltimore City but unfortunately with minimal results.
I believe that providing Ivan Bates with more resources and support to do his job would go a very long way in impacting violent crimes. My friend told me he reached out to Mr.Bates this morning and believes Mr.Bates will be able to help him rectify his problem. I also believe that if a congressman from District 7 made crime prevention one of his top priorities things would change in Baltimore City!
Many thanks to all of the officers as well as the First Responders who are protecting and serving residents to the best of their ability! May God Bless You All.
Maryland’s 7th district has long been associated with the civil rights movement since the days of Parren Mitchell. How would you describe the state of race relations in 2024 and what is the role of Congress in addressing civil rights at the local, state and national level?Sadly I believe the manufactured media sites relentlessly stoke the racial tension in America and should be ashamed of themselves. Thomas Sowell, a hero of mine, shared a race relations study about white and black high school students’ perceptions of the degree of racism present in their schools.
If I remember correctly, it was the 1990s and everyone had agreed that there was some degree of racism present at the school, but when they were asked if they felt that the racism made any significant impact in holding them back the students didn’t feel as if racism was holding them back at all. I believe Thomas Sowell did another study a decade later, and in a decade our learning institutions and our world culture shapers had convinced some of our children to believe they were oppressed.
So the real question is, who made the children feel used and abused? Another problem I see is people don’t know how to say hi or hold a door for someone regardless of their gender or skin color.
